Mr. Chairman,

Russia considers strengthening of the NPT and of the nuclear non-proliferation regime as a whole as one of the most important tasks and an absolute foreign policy priority. Therefore, we attach particular importance to attaining the highest possible effectiveness of the NPT review process.
