If we are negotiating with the West that does not mean that our position regarding western dominance and interference in the Middle East has changed. Iran is not willing to give up its independent politics for any price. Iran’s eight-year resistance during a forcible war and its firmness in the question of peaceful use of nuclear energy are examples of such an Iranian approach. Resistance and evasion of sanctions are a witness to the independence of Iran.
