Biography :

Candidate of Political Sciences, Professor of the Academy of Military Science. 1990 graduate of the Moscow State Institute for International Relations (MGIMO). Former officer of the Soviet/Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Dr. Kozyulin worked at Moscow News Review, later was a representative of the Republic State Enterprise "Kazspetsexport" in Russia. In 2000-2002 Dr. Kozyulin accomplished the Management of Military and Technical Cooperation Program in the Russian Academy for Foreign Trade and defended a thesis on Military Technical Cooperation as a Mechanism of Regional Stability in Central Asia. He maintains close contacts with CIS and foreign export companies. His research interests are Arms Trade Treaty, Russia's military and technical cooperation with foreign countries, stability in Central Asia and Afghanistan. PIR Center Research Fellow since 1994. PIR Center Asian Security Project Director and Emerging Technologies and Global Security Project Director since 2017. 06/17
