19.10.2017

MOSCOW, OCTOBER 19, 2017. PIR PRESS. — “I am pleased to welcome Adlan Margoev and Yuliya Tseshkovskaya joining our team. At the PIR Center, we have invariably staked on young, bright and creative colleagues”. — Dr. Vladimir A. Orlov, Founder of the PIR Center

PIR Center welcomes new members of the team. Mr. Adlan R. Margoev has been appointed as the Director of “Russia and Nuclear Nonproliferation” program, which is the primary program at the Center. Ms. Yuliya V. Tseshkovskaya took the post of Assistant to Founder of the PIR Center.

Adlan Margoev has been cooperating with the PIR Center for several years in various capacities, most recently as a Consultant. He is the Executive Secretary on PIR Center's side of Russian-American working groups on the nonproliferation of WMD, as well as strategic stability and de-escalation. Adlan is a young expert and author of publications on the nonproliferation of WMD and foreign policy of Russia, the Russian-American dialogue on the Iranian nuclear program, Russian-Iranian cooperation, and Russian-Georgian relations. He is studying in the M.A. dual degree program on “WMD Nonproliferation, Nuclear Policy and Global Security”, which was launched by the Moscow State Institute of International Relation (MGIMO-University) and the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (MIIS), under the initiative of the PIR Center in 2016. Previously, he undertook an internship in the Iran division of the Second Asian Department, Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Even though Adlan will maintain his focus on the issues of the Russian-Iranian dialogue and the prospects for the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), he will also direct the development of other projects within the program, such as “The Future of the NPT and Russia’s Interest”, “Arms control and paths towards nuclear disarmament“, among others.

Yuliya Tseshkovskaya holds a master's degree in international relations from Moscow State Institute of International Relation (MGIMO-University). She undertook internships in Department for External Church Relations (far abroad affairs) of the Moscow Patriarchate, in the Embassy of the Republic of Macedonia in Moscow and in the PIR Center and Center for Global Issues and International Organizations Studies of Diplomatic Academy of Russian Foreign Ministry. Yuliya is a young expert and author of publications on global Internet governance, issues of information security and conflicts in cyberspace, as well as a religious aspect in the system of international relations.

Emphasizing  the potential of new team members, PIR Center Founder Dr. Vladimir A. Orlov noted: “I am pleased to welcome Adlan Margoev and Yuliya Tseshkovskaya joining our team. At the PIR Center, we have invariably staked on young, bright and creative colleagues”.
