“We would be glad to meet PIR Center alumni at our anniversary celebrations on October 4-5, 2014. For us definition alumni means more than it usually does. Moreover, we also count as our alumni people who used to work at the PIR Center regardless their age, social position and affiliation,” – PIR  Center Executive Director Albert Zulkharneev.

“It happened that I lived in countries as diverse as Germany and Moldova in my childhood. As a result, I understood that the people are more important than places. Thanks to this experience I also became more mobile and stress-resistant. After leaving Moldova I was studying in the USA, and then entered a university in Moscow. By then I got used to frequent changes of place, climate and environment, and now it helps me in my everyday work,” Elena Chernenko, Foreign Policy Observer in Kommersant Daily, Member of PIR Center’s Advisory Board Working Group.

“Summer School of PIR Center provides a unique opportunity to meet Russian experts on all the key issues of international security. I was absolutely amazed with how many well-known and professional experts and politicians found time to meet and talk with us. In general, the acquired contacts, the level of discussion, the intensity of the communication and the organization of our free time can be assessed as ‘excellent’. Good job, PIR Center!”- Bilyana Lilly, External Expert, Oxford Analytica, participant of PIR Center Summer School 2013.
