The analytical materials and links that you will find in this section are not in any way closely regulated or deliberated within the authority of the PIR Center's system of selection. Exactly the opposite, do not look for a system in the selection of these materials, much less any regulation or deliberation. This is nothing but a selection of articles from my personal "Lyceum" - or, more accurately, from the journal shelf of my office; those which seemed to me to be noteworthy, out of the ordinary, the kind of articles where one wants to put either an exclamation point or a question mark in the margins … with opinions with which you could agree, or strongly disagree; but which, in any case, should not seem boring or simple. Plus, I offer here several informational materials and documents (or links to them) hot on the trail of events on the most topical issues.
Therefore, unlike other sections of the PIR Center site, we are not necessarily talking about nonproliferation, or about weapons of mass destruction. The framework here is wider: Russia's domestic, foreign and defense policy, national interest, national security and strategies for Russian development.
Students can find basic useful information for reports here; journalists - "tasty" quotes; and specialists - a field for debate.
Welcome!
Vladimir Orlov
