VLADIMIR. DECEMBER 26, 2022. PIR PRESS. “Published in 2001, it still does not lose its relevance. Its value lies in the fact that it is probably the first complete monograph in the field of international information security written by diplomats and scientists who were directly involved in the negotiation process on the IIB security regime initiated by Russia within the framework of the UN in 1998. The book sets out the basic principles of the IIB, introduced into scientific circulation, and defines the basic concepts, identifies the tasks, challenges, and threats to Russia reflected in the “Doctrine of Information Security of the Russian Federation”, reveals the milestones of the ongoing information wars and the emerging negotiation process”, – Tatiana Grishanina, participant of the PIR Center auction, lecturer of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics of Baltic State Technical University “VOENMEH” named after D.F. Ustinov.
On December 4, 2022, after the ceremony of awarding certificates to the participants of the seminar within the framework of the project “Oral History of Nuclear Nonproliferation”, an auction of publications of PIR Center was held, at which unique PIR Center publications from different years, books and magazines with autographs of the authors were raffled.

Reviews of our patrons:
“The value of the monograph that I acquired is that it is probably the first complete monograph in the field of international information security written by diplomats and scientists who were directly involved in the negotiation process on the IIB security regime initiated by Russia within the UN in 1998… The most important conclusion about the vector of development of the political process in the field of information. The technology that the authors foresaw at the turn of the century is the need to create a regime of control over information weapons along with nuclear weapons., because in the future, the informational and psychological parameters of the confrontation between the powers may dominate the nuclear ones, and the potential of information weapons used in the course of informational and psychological struggle and network information revolutions may have serious geopolitical consequences,” Tatiana Grishanina.
“The auction of materials of PIR Center included the Security Index journals for different years, as well as other thematic magazines and monographs. In particular, the 100th issue of the Security Index with articles by K.-J. Tokayev, V.F. Lata, V.A. Orlov and an interview with V.V. Putin, which I purchased,” Andrey Eliseev.
