Institute of Strategic Stability

Founded in 2000.

The Institute was established by the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom. Its prime goals are the consolidation of industry potential, conceptual analysis of the military-political situation, information and analytical activities, coordination of research in the interests of ensuring strategic stability in the military-political sphere, especially in the nuclear weapons field, based on a comprehensive analysis of current trends in political, scientific and technical development, military-strategic, military-technical, economic and social areas of the world states. The Institute also provides methodological guidance for scientific research and conducts joint work with Russian Federal Nuclear Сenters, leading research institutes and design bureaus of the Rosatom State Corporationin the field of strategic stability.
