In 2022, the PIR Center began establishing of the International Commission on Ambassador Timerbaev‘s Legacy, which will be responsible for the selection, editing and publication of materials for the second and third volumes of Timerbaev’s Antology.

When I met Ambassador Timerbaev at the ENDC negotiations I was only beginning my career and was the most junior member of the Brazilian Delegation. Unfortunately, I never had the occasion to interact directly with him during the discussions of the NPT at the Committee. but I remember that he was a brilliant professional and had much respect both in the Soviet delegation and from international diplomats. I am thankful to PIR Center for the opportunity to become a part of International Commission on Ambassador Timerbaev Legacy.
