On May 15, 2024, the 122nd Summer Session of the Trialogue Club International will be held on the topic Assessing Strategic Stability and Arms Control in the New International Environment.
With tensions in the international arena surging to an unprecedented level, the US and Russia are signaling that business-as-usual approach is no longer acceptable. How to maintain strategic stability in the absence of strategic dialogue between the two nuclear superpowers? How will Russia’s approaches to building its foreign policy on nuclear issues develop and transform? What should be done to reduce nuclear risks and prevent nuclear escalation?
The 122nd Summer Session of the Trialogue Club International is to be held on the format of panel discussion, with participation of Gen. Evgeny Buzhinskiy, Chairman of PIR Center Executive Board, Co-Chair of the Trialogue Club International; Dr. Andrey Malov, Member of PIR Center Advisory Board; Dr. Vladimir Orlov, Founding President of the Trialogue Club International, PIR Center Founding Director, Professor at MGIMO University, and other prominent experts. We will additionally announce the full list of discussants to the Club members and special guests of the President on the eve of the session.
The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Elena Chernenko, Co-Chair of the Trialogue Club International, Special Correspondent of the Kommersant Daily, Member of PIR Center Executive Board.
