Born on February 11, 1942.
In 1971–1993, Natalia I. Kalinina held the positions of Junior Research Fellow, Senior Research Fellow, Head of the Laboratory, Head of the Department of the Research Institute of Hygiene, Toxicology and Occupational Pathology of the Ministry of Health of the USSR/Russia. In 1994–2007, she worked in the highest bodies of state power. In 2003–2004, she served as an Assistant to the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. In 2005–2007, she was the Deputy Head of the Inspection of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation.
Natalia I. Kalinina is one of the leading experts in the field of nonproliferation of chemical and biological weapons, the Global Partnership Against the Spread of Weapons and Materials of Mass Destruction, and military and technical cooperation.
