Yarnykh, Andrey Yu.

Born on April 15, 1969.

In 1993, Andrey Yu. Yarnykh graduated from Moscow State Pedagogical University (MSPU), and in 2003 from Moscow State Regional University (MSOU). Since 1996, he has been working in the field of communications and mass communications, including since 2001 at Kaspersky Lab. He is a member of the board of the Regional Public Organization “Center for Internet Technologies” and a virus security expert in the projects Hotline of the Runet Friendly Foundation and the Russian Safer Internet Centre. In 2008, he was a member of the expert group on countering botnet and virus threats at the G8 meeting in Germany. In 2009, he took an active part in the events held within the framework of the “Year of Secure Internet in Russia”, which were supported by the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation. He is the Chairman of the Information Security and Cybercrime Commission of the Russian Association for Electronic Communications (RAEC).
