On October 7, 2026 from 17:30 to 18:50, PIR Center will hold an expert seminar titled “Strategic Stability in the Era of a Negotiation Vacuum: Russia’s Interests and the Future of Arms Control”. The event will take in a hybrid format (at MGIMO University and online via Yandex Telemost).
Evgeny Buzhinsky, Gen-Lieut.(ret.), Chairman of PIR Center Executive Board, Co-Chair of the Trialogue Club International and a recognized expert in the field of military and political aspects of international security, non-proliferation of nuclear weapons and military cooperation, will deliver a lecture.
The MGIMO and PIR Center joint International Security Master’s program students, Global Politics and International Political Analysis Master’s students as well as other MGIMO students, and external guests, including young researchers in the field of strategic stability and arms control, are invited.
