Aleksandra serves as Deputy Director of PIR Center, where she oversees strategic development and supports the organization’s overall management and operations. Working closely with the Director, she is responsible for advancing PIR Center’s institutional priorities, strengthening international partnerships, and delivering its core projects and flagship events.

She also serves as Executive Secretary of the Trialogue Club International. Her responsibilities include coordinating PIR Center’s analytical and educational initiatives, including PIR Center International Summer School-2026 in Zvenigorod.

Aleksandra has a strong track record in managing research and educational initiatives in nuclear nonproliferation and international security. She previously coordinated PIR Center project “Oral History of Nuclear Nonproliferation” (2023-2024), served as Coordinator of the Monterey Symposium on Russian Studies (2024), and led PIR Center research project on competition in uranium markets in the Sahel. She started her work with PIR Center in 2021, and since then hold a range of research, project management and contractor roles.

Her professional experience includes positions at the Center for International Security at IMEMO RAS and at the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs in New York.

Alexandra holds a BA in International Relations from MGIMO University (2022) and an MA in Global Security, Nuclear Policy, and WMD Nonproliferation (dual degree, MGIMO University, Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, PIR Center, 2025).

She is a recipient of the IAEA Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship, a member of the Young Deep Cuts Commission, and an alumna of the Harvard Arms Control Negotiation Academy (2024–2025), as well as programs of the Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs and other international instituitions. She has contributed to a number of international conferences and events on global security and nonproliferation, including as a speaker.
