Alexandra Zubenko

PIR Center Consultant. An early-career specialist in arms control and nonproliferation. She holds an MA from the International Dual Degree Program in Global Security, Nuclear Policy, and WMD Nonproliferation, developed by MGIMO University, PIR Center, and the Middlebury Institute. Alexandra is a Marie Sklodowska-Curie IAEA Fellow (2023-2025) and interned with the UN Office for Disarmament Affairs in 2025. She has worked as a Senior Research Assistant at IMEMO RAS and held various research and coordination roles at PIR Center. Alexandra is also a member of the Young Deep Cuts Commission.
