AlShehhi, Abdulaziz Ahmed

Abdulaziz AlShehhi joined TRENDS Research & Advisory at the start of 2024 as a Senior Researcher in the Strategic Studies sector, focusing on strategic affairs and political analysis. Before this, from 2022 to 2024, he was responsible for coordinating faculty affairs and served as an Assistant Instructor in the Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Scholars Programs Department at New York University Abu Dhabi, teaching Political Science classes.

He earned a bachelor’s degree with first-class honors in Political Science from UAE University in 2018, complemented by a minor in Communication and Leadership. Abdulaziz also pursued professional development through programs such as the Tomoh Fellowship at NYU and specialized training on Negotiation and Diplomacy at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Arts in Global Affairs and Diplomatic Leadership at the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy in the UAE.
