Andrey Baykov

PhD in Political Science. Vice-Rector for Science and Research at MGIMO University. Associate Professor at the Department of Applied International Analysis of MGIMO University. Editor-in-Chief of the International Trends journal. In 2007-2008, he worked as a political commentator at the International Department of RIA Novosti News Agency. In 2008, he was a Visiting Scholar at George Washington University, USA. Lectured at the Freie Universität Berlin, Germany (2011), and at the Institut d’études politiques de Paris (Sciences Po), France (2013). In 2012-2016, he was Head of the MGIMO Masters Programs Department. He has authored or co-authored more than 60 articles in refereed journals, four monographs, and over ten textbooks for undergraduate and graduate students reading international politics. Laureate of the Awards of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), the Russian Political Science Association (RPSA), as well as the International Studies Association (ISA), USA.
