Appointed Ambassador-at-Large in March 2023. Career diplomat with a vast experience in international affairs. Served in different capacities at the Russian MFA headquarters and in the outposts abroad. Was stationed on regular diplomatic missions in Ukraine and various in Geneva, Switzerland, lastly (2015-2018) as DPR to the World Trade Organization. Contributed into running the Russian presidencies in different multifaceted formats, led negotiating processes or was a major negotiator at the intergovernmental level to conclude or update multilateral legally binding instruments or adopt ministerial or leaders’ level outcomes.
Currently operates a multi-task office aimed at promoting effective Russian participation at premier economic platforms of the global scale, namely, the Group of Twenty, acting as a foreign policy sous-sherpa, and being a senior official for its counterpart in the most dynamic region of the world – Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum. On top of these duties he also advances flagship initiative by the President of the Russian Federation to form up the Greater Eurasian Partnership to better connect and align integration formats and undertakings for the sake of establishing seamless, cohesive and well functioning economic space across the continent.
Graduated from a number of renowned high school establishments, including Turkmen State University in Ashkhabad in 1995 and Russian Diplomatic Academy in Moscow with distinction in 2006.
Granted the Certificate of Honour and the Letters of Acknowledgement of the President of the Russian Federation, same letters by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. Awarded with the Medal of the Order «For Merit to the Fatherland», 2nd Class.
Holds a diplomatic rank of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
