Gorbachev, Alexander S.

2nd year student of master’s programme European Union Studies at Tomsk State University. Previously graduated with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from TSU. In 2016-2017, participated in a grant from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR). Author of scientific papers published in the collection of the RSCI (with the support of the RFBR) and in the Russian Economic Bulletin (included in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission and the RSCI database). In 2020, won the Master of TSU Olympiad in the major European Union Studies. In 2021, successfully gave a speech at the international scientific conference Europe after 2020 with the report New aspects of the EU innovation policy in 2021, which later was published in the Tomsk University Press. Specializes in the internal and foreign policy of the European Union, relations between Russia and the EU. He is currently working on a dissertation on the topic EU Innovation Policy. Research interests: the Karabakh conflict and security in the South Caucasus, the Ukrainian crisis, transatlantic relations and the influence of NATO, human rights. 02\22
