International Affairs

Founded in 1922.

A monthly publication devoted to the problems of foreign policy, diplomacy, and national security. It was founded by the Russian Foreign Ministry. The first issue was published in 1922 as the “Weekly of the People’s Commissariat for Foreign Affairs”. The publication started again on a monthly basis in 1954 under the title “International Affairs”. Today the journal is known to a wide range of readers in Russia and abroad. The magazine’s board is headed by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey V. Lavrov.
