OSCE Academy in Bishkek

Founded in 2002.

The OSCE Academy in Bishkek is the result of cooperation between the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic. In 2002, the parties signed Memorandum of Understanding, which gave official status to the establishment of the Academy as a regional center for postgraduate education and a forum for regional dialogue on security and scientific research. The OSCE Academy in Bishkek seek to promote regional cooperation, conflict prevention and good governance in Central Asia through the offer of higher education, professional training and intellectual exchange.
