MOSCOW. OCTOBER 16, 2023. PIR PRESS. «I am pleased to announce that PIR Center has embarked on a new project — an African project. We have been considering this for a long time, exploring the valuable contributions we can make. And today, we announce a project dedicated to advancing new technologies in Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as Russian-African cooperation in high technology. What will this project specifically entail? Primarily, it will focus on atomic energy, information technology, and cyber security. It will also cover biotechnologies that contribute to biosecurity, healthcare improvement, and the quality of life for Africans. We are talking about positive security and technologies for the sake of progress and development. We will work in two formats. The first format involves scientific research that we will be happy to share with all interested parties. The second one is the development of education programs, primarily for Russian specialists working in the diplomatic field and state corporations. We will implement this ambitious project in a consortium with MGIMO University», — Dr. Vladimir Orlov, Founding Director of PIR Center, Professor of MGIMO University.
