The Ukraine Events Of Early 2022 Were Discussed At The 113th Spring Session Of The Trialogue Club International

On April 28, the 113th Spring Session of the Trialogue Club International took place. It was dedicated to the topic Hot Spring of 2022: Introduction to A New Global Insecurity”, where the Ukraine events of early 2022, its potential consequences and future situation were discussed.  

Once again, the Trialogue Club International has confirmed its readiness to discuss the current agenda, as well as its status as an inclusive forum for changing opinions however contradictory they might be. The Session was attended by more than three dozen representatives of foreign diplomatic missions, international organizations, and leading experts in the sphere of global security. 

The Session was held in the format of panel discussion. Gen. Evgeny P. Buzhinskiy, Co-Chair of the Trialogue Club International, Chairman of PIR Center Executive Board and Dr. Dmitri V. Trenin, Member of PIR Center Advisory Board, Council on Foreign and Defense Policy (SVOP), Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) were the panelists. The Session was co-moderated by the Club Co-Chair Dr. Elena V. Chernenko and the Club President Dr. Vladimir A. Orlov.

The meeting participants assessed the discussion positively, reaffirming the importance of such meetings for the continuation of the dialogue.  The Trialogue Club International, founded in 1993, began its 29th season with a long-awaited lively meeting, which allowed us to address fundamental issues of international security in a constructive manner.
