PhD in Politics. Vice-President for Research at MGIMO University. Associate Professor at the Department of Applied International Analysis of MGIMO University. Editor-in-Chief of the International Trends Journal. In 2007-2008, he worked as a political commentator at the International Department of RIA Novosti news agency. In 2008, he was a Visiting Scholar at George Washington University, USA. Lectured at the Freie Universität Berlin, Germany (2011), and at the Institut d’études politiques de Paris, France (2013). In 2012-2016, he was Head of the MGIMO Masters Programs Department. He is the author and co-author of about 100 scientific papers, including one individual and three collective monographs, more than 50 articles in journals, co-author of more than ten textbooks and study guides. Laureate of the Awards of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), the Russian Political Science Association (RPSA), as well as the International Studies Association (ISA), USA. He is a Visiting Professor at Henley Business School, UK, and Jilin University, China. Member of PIR Center Advisory Board.
