PhD in Politics. Professor of the Department of Theory of Law and State at Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN). Graduated in 1989 from the History Department at Lomonosov Moscow State University’s Asia and Africa Institute. Served as Research Associate at the Institute for the US and Canadian Studies of the Russian Academy of Science. In 1995-1998 he worked as Senior Research Fellow at the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies (RISI). Later served as a Senior Research Fellow and Project Director at PIR Center. In 2001-2006 he worked for the KROS Public Relations Development Company as a Vice-President. In 2001-2008 worked as a Director of the Public Relations Department at Techsnabexport (TENEX) and as a Deputy Director General of the National Laboratory for Foreign Policy. He is a specialist in military-political aspects of Russia’s national security, US foreign policy, and regional aspects of nuclear nonproliferation. In 2021, he was awarded the Medal of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for Achievements in Military-Political Work.
