Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. After graduating from Lomonosov Moscow State University, he worked in institutions of the state apparatus. He dealt with the problems of disarmament and non-proliferation of WMD. Recently, he has been actively engaged in scientific and practical activities in the field of international and information security, as well as the fight against international terrorism. Editor and co-author of the monographs Information Challenges to National and International Security and Superterrorism: a New Challenge of the new Century. Member of the Expert Council of the PIR Center since 2001. In recent years, he has been teaching. For 5 years, as a professor at the Faculty of Political Science of MGIMO (U), he has been reading the course of lectures “International Information Security” developed by him, and in recent years he has also been reading his own course “Political Science foundations of Information Security” at Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Author of about 100 scientific papers, 14 monographs, textbooks and teaching aids. He has state and departmental (including the medal of the Security Council of the Russian Federation) awards, gratitude of the President of Russia.
