MOSCOW. NOVEMBER 3, 2026. PIR PRESS. The Trialogue Club International announces the launch of a membership extension campaign for 2027 and invites members of the diplomatic and expert community from African countries to join the Club on special terms.
For many years, the Trialogue Club International has been bringing together representatives of the diplomatic corps, government agencies, the scientific and expert community and international organizations, serving as a platform for professional and open dialogue on global security, strategic stability, arms control and nuclear nonproliferation. Club meetings are held four times a year. Currently, representatives of more than 30 embassies in Moscow and two international organizations are among the Club’s corporate and individual members.
Africa is in the spotlight of PIR Center academic research and the Club’s discussions
PIR Center consistently expands the scope of research on the security and development of the African continent. Special attention is paid to the prospects of Russian-African cooperation in the nuclear energy sector, the uranium mining industry, high technology and regional security.
In recent years, PIR Center has prepared a series of analytical reports on the following issues:
On November 14, 2025, as part of the 128th meeting of the Trialogue Club International, there was held an international expert seminar ”Russia-Africa: analysis of prospects for strategic cooperation and challenges. From uranium to high technology.“ The event was organized by PIR Center in cooperation with the Club and gathered ambassadors, senior diplomats as well as representatives of the academic, expert and business community from 25 countries, including Niger, Rwanda, Gabon, Ghana, Chad, DR Congo, Kenya, Namibia and Eritrea.
The Club takes interest in further expanding the participation of African diplomats and experts and intends to keep African issues among the significant areas of its expert discussions. Therefore, we invite representatives of African countries to join the Club on special terms.

Feedback on previous Club meetings from African Embassies representatives:
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Niger to the Russian Federation Issa Abdou Sidikou:
”Niger is currently developing cooperation with Russia in the field of uranium mining, primarily with Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation and companies within its structure. According to the Nigerian side, Russia’s apprich implies more attention to the national sovereignty of the state, which corresponds to the current course of the country’s leadership. In addition, special emphasis is placed on domestic labour training, human development and local technologies…. I am grateful to the Trialogue Club for the high level of expertise and attention to the issues of multilateral cooperation between Russia and Africa.“
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Gabonese Republic to Russia Sostène Ndemby:
”Thank you for today’s discussions at the Trialogue Club International. We examined the Sahel uranium issue and Russian-African relations. Both topics provided new information and an opportunity to explore the issues from different angles. I express my gratitude to the Trialogue Club.”
Brigadier General Vuyisile Sibaca, the Defence Attaché of the Republic of South Africa:
“Many thanks to Dr. Vladimir Orlov and the Trialogue Club International team for the invitation. The discussion was extremely informative and allowed me to better understand the geopolitical issues addressed. I look forward to further participation in events and hope to join the Club”.
