«Ves Mir Publishers» releases the second (corrected and enlarged) edition of the PIR Center report «New Nuclear Nine? Assessing Nuclear Proliferation Threats in the World»

The book was prepared by a team of 12 researchers and edited by PIR Center Founder and Director Dr. Vladimir Orlov and PIR Center Research Fellow Sergey Semenov.

The purpose of this report is to analyze the most radical scenarios for the development of the situation in the field of nuclear non-proliferation, which can lead to the appearance of new nuclear states on the political map of the world.

Japan, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Ukraine, Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Brazil are considered as states and territories ready to play on the rise. It is these states and territories, according to the authors of the report, that may be interested in maintaining uncertainty about their nuclear ambitions – either as the last argument of the king, or as a bargaining chip.

You can place an order for the book on the website of the Trade House «BiblioGlobus» or on the official website of the «Ves Mir Publishers».
